Banca Comercială Română - Think alike

   BCR Chisinau began its activity as a universal bank in The Republic of Moldova on October 22, 1998 with a social capital of 24 million lei which was increased over the course of the company’s activity, rising up to the present value of 562.750.000 MDL.

   The single stockholder of BCR Chisinau S.A. is Banca Comerciala Română S.A.

   In 2006, the majority packet of stocks of Banca Comercială Română was procured by Grupul Financiar Erste, Austria.

   The branch office carries out the following operations to the degree of its expertise, according to the regulations of the branch, the instructions and rules of the bank and the normative procedures, namely:

1. the organizing and assuring of the operational serving and reimbursement of individuals and legal entities;
2. the opening and registering of the current accounts in the national money, of the accounts in foreign money, of deposits and of other accounts of individuals and legal entities;
3. the purchase and sale of the foreign currencies in cash, in correspondence with the limit established by the Bank for branch offices;
4. the performing of services on the market of financial securities (corporate and/or governmental);
5. the issuing and administration of payment instruments;
6. the carrying out of lending to individuals and legal entities from the account of the financial means drawn in by the bank in the limits established by the corresponding rules of the Bank;
7. the receipt of payments for utilities, taxes, state fees, etc
