Donici Alexander (1806-1866) - Romanian classical literature, fabulist and translator. Museum of A. Donici Patria "was organized in 1976 to about 40 km north of Chisinau, the estate of his works in the village Donici.  

   The manor atmosphere is created in the early nineteenth century, restored individual circumstances of that period.

   The museum maintains a vast collection of household items and a collection of documents and photographs related to the life of A. Donici and publications of the period. Of particular interest are the writer's works published during his lifetime and the first translation into Romanian.
