Museum Pushkin House "was opened in the late 40 century the house of a merchant in Chisinau, Naumov, where he lived in the autumn of 1820 Alexander Sergeyevich, expelled from Russia for three years. In this house is now arranged a permanent exhibition, reflecting the typical situation Bessarabian cuibuşorului nobles early nineteenth century.
Now, the museum has grown and not just the house where the poet lived, but also the adjacent mansion built in the late nineteenth century.
The museum is happening art seminars and annual conferences dedicated to Alexander Sergeev, and Pushkin's poetry today. Since 1993, under the auspices of the museum is hosting the annual conference in Chisinau Spring of Bessarabia, which involves fans Pushkin in Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Romania.
